The Pug is a calm and affectionate dog with a short flat muzzle making it difficult for him to grasp and chew his food. His lower activity level and natural genetic tendencies put him at risk for weight gain and dermatological diseases. Royal Canin Pug 25 is formulated with vitamins, minerals, and Omega fatty acids, to help support his healthy weight and protect his sensitive skin.

Beacause of their flat (brachycephalic) jaw, Pugs need a kibble that's easy to pick up, doesn't roll and is easy to crunch. The unique cloverleaf shaped kibble is specially adapted to make it easy for your Pug to pick up and chew food. The addition of sodium tripolyphosphate helps to prevent the build up of plaque and tartar. Pug 25 is formulated with L-carnitine to burn fat, plus optimal protein (25%) and moderate fat levels to help build lean muscle.

Your Pug's short coat and skin need special care. Pug 25 contains a patented complex of 4 B vitamins and 1 amino acid to strengthen the skin. The addition of omega 6 fatty acids helps to enhance ethe shine of your Pug's short coat.
