INTRODUCTION:
Ticks are ectoparasites (externalparasites), living by hematophagy on the blood of mammals,birds, and
occasionally reptiles and amphibians.
A tick will attach itself to its host by inserting its chelicerae (cutting mandibles) and hypostome (feeding tube)
into the skin. The hypostome is covered with recurved teeth and serves as a hammer.
Ticks are vectors of a number of diseases. Ticks can detect heat emitted or carbon dioxide respired from a
nearby host. They will generally drop off the animal when full, but this may take several days. In some cases
ticks will live for some time on the blood of an animal. Ticks are more active outdoors in warm weather, but
can attack a host at any time.

RISK OF CONVENTION CONTROL OF TICKS ON PETS
Chemical-based methods contain toxic chemicals, if not administered properly, may cause adverse effects.
Permethrin-based products are highly toxic to cats, aquatic, reptiles and other cold-blooded animals. Very
high doses will have tangible neurotoxic effects on mammals and birds, including human beings.
Side effects may occur like skin disorders (itchiness, redness, hair discoloration, hair loss, bleeding sores),

also effective on eggs, larval, nymph and adult stage of the pests. REMOVE is safe to use on dogs, cats, small
animals etc. There is no harm if your pets lick and consume the powder.

HOW to use REMOVE?
Dust liberally on animal and their resting places, including corners, gaps etc. If your pet is heavily infested,
powder the pet once a week. For maintenance use once a month, or anytime before or after outdoor
activities.

Store in a cool dry place, keep away from direct sunlight and children. Do not freeze and do not allow the
product to undergo thermal shock.
